Q: How are my San Ignacio Golf Estates homeowners’ dues used? A: Your dues are used primarily to maintain the roads and the common areas. Additionally, your HOA pays for liability insurance, membership in the Green Valley Council, and other items listed in the HOA budget. A: GVR (Green Valley Recreation) dues are used by the GVR board to maintain the numerous Green Valley recreation centers which include swimming pools, exercise rooms, meeting rooms, pickleball and tennis courts, etc. Your HOA dues are used by the San Ignacio Golf Estates board as explained in the first answer.
Q: When are dues invoices sent out and when is payment due?
A: Both your homeowners’ dues and the GVR dues are paid annually. HOA invoices are mailed out in December, and payments are due by the end of January.
Q: How can I reach a board member?
A: You can send a general email to the board by entering sigehoa@yahoo.com. You can also find individual board member email addresses in the member directory.
Q: Where and when are the board meetings held?
A: Regularly scheduled board meetings are held at the homes of the board members. Residents are welcome to attend all board meetings. The annual meeting is held in February at a GVR facility so that there is room for everyone to attend.
Q: If I have house guests, can they attend HOA events?
A: Yes, house guests are welcome to attend HOA events. However, you are encouraged to let the social committee know how many people will be attending.

A: Republic Services provides separate bins for trash and recycle. Trash and recycle are picked up on Mondays. Trash alone is picked up on Thursday. Holidays are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. When those holidays occur on a pick-up day, pick up will be delayed by a day.

A: When your dog is outside of your enclosed yard, it must be on a leash and under your control. You are expected to pick up dog excrement and take it home for disposal. These rules are covered in the HOA CC&R’s and in the Pima County Statutes (Pima County Title 6, Chapter 6.04 and 6.08). Owners who do not leash their dogs are subject to county fines.
